Holiday Contribution

This holiday season we were able to make a life-saving contribution to Child Advocates. They recruit, train, and support volunteers who are committed to providing a voice for children in the foster care system. Contributions to organizations like these are a no brainer, especially when there is an opportunity to advocate for a child. Uprite is grateful to provide life-saving assistance to a child in need.

Commitment to Community

One of the main benefits Child Advocates provides is advocacy that helps abused and neglected children. After the child leaves the foster care system, Harris County’s Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) program will quickly help children find a permanent home. This holiday season we will be able to provide the gift of life-saving advocacy to a child for one year.

One Less Child Neglected

Unfortunately, nearly 4,000 children in the Houston area have experienced abuse or neglect. This results in that child being removed from their home and placed in foster care. One less child who has to experience abuse or neglect is a huge step in the right direction. While there is still a long way to go, we are glad to make sure one less child doesn’t go neglected.
